Christi earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Liberty University, and she is a licensed professional counselor and a nationally certified counselor in Wisconsin. She desires to meet individuals where they are at while encouraging them to take an active role in their own growth, healing, and change. She aims to holistically treat adolescents, adults, and couples with an eclectic approach utilizing aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Positive Psychology, as well as other types of therapies.
Christi uses a client-centered approach to counseling and aims to create a strong therapeutic alliance in a non-judgmental environment. She aims to create a safe place for individuals to process their thoughts and feelings and work toward their treatment goals. She has experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, coping from past traumatic experiences, unhealthy expressions of anger, grief, difficult life transitions, and relationship issues.
