Mental Health Counselor

Heather began her counseling career 7 years ago at Green Bay Comprehensive Treatment Center; treating opioid addictions. She has variety of experience working in the human services field and shows compassion helping individuals better their lives. Heather believes it is important to build trust and have a non-judgement approach to therapy. She is interested in working with a diverse group of individuals.

Key Areas of Interest: Anxiety, depression, self-esteem, parenting, AODA, employment counseling, stress-management, and domestic violence/sexual abuse.

Counseling styles: Person-centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.

Education: Master of Science in Community Counseling-UW-Oshkosh
Bachelor of Science in Human Services and a minor in Communication-UW-Oshkosh
One year technical diploma in Substance Abuse Counselor Education-NTC.

Certifications: Licensed Professional Counselor and Clinical substance Abuse, and Independent Clinical Supervisor.
