Provides limited financial assistance to people who are struggling to meet their basic needs and have nowhere else to turn for help. LEAVEN helps with basic human needs, mostly helping people stay in their homes or apartments. We help with rent, mortgage, and security deposits. We help make sure gas, electric, or water services are not shut off or are reconnected. We also provide gas cards, bus passes, diapers, toiletries, and vouchers for clothing. We connect people to other resources in the Fox Cities through referrals.
Catholic Charities partners with Fox Cities United Way and Brown County United Way for support of our mental health counseling programs. United Way helps to maximize our capacity and mobilize communities to action so that we all can thrive.
