What do Family Resource Coordinators help with?

We help families and individuals navigate community resources, overcome barriers, and find the support that’s right for you. We can help with:

  • Finances
  • Anxiety/Depression
  • Immigration Status
  • Adoption/Pregnancy
  • Addiction Recovery
  • Housing
  • Food
  • Health Care
  • Employment
  • Transportation

How is a Family Resource Coordinator different from a Mental Health Counselor?

A Family Resource Coordinator is a non-clinical professional who helps individuals and families access community resources, navigate support services, and meet practical needs. A Mental Health Counselor is a licensed clinical professional who provides therapy and treatment for emotional, behavioral, and mental health concerns.

While both roles support overall well-being, Family Resource Coordinators focus on resource navigation and care coordination, whereas Mental Health Counselors are specially trained and licensed to assess, diagnose, and treat mental health conditions.
