Part of the International Association of Catholic Mental Health Ministries, this ministry is grounded in the truth that every person is made in the image and likeness of God. The ministry offers encouragement, spiritual care, and resources for those navigating mental health struggles.
The ministry also works to equip clergy, parish staff, and volunteers through education, training, and support in helping cultivate mental wellness within the Church.
Rooted in the Catholic faith, Mental Health Ministries of the Catholic Diocese of Green Bay provides resources, training, and empowerment for parish ministers to work within their communities and promote belonging, hope, and well-being.
Our mission is to reduce stigma, provide resources, and ensure that no one feels alone in their struggles by cultivating networks of understanding and support through the parishes. Through intentional sharing of resources and guidance, we assist parishes in developing their own mental health ministires. Recognizing the importance of ingtegrating faith and science, we accompany our brothers and sisters in need with compassion and care. Our focus is on prevention, flourishing, and the pursuit of wholeness for every person.
