After nearly five years of dating, we exchanged vows in August 2017 at St. Joseph Parish in downtown Appleton, WI — a place that continues to hold deep meaning for us. We remain active members of the parish, and it’s especially close to our hearts since Liz completed the RCIA program and officially joined the Catholic Church during the Easter Vigil Mass that same year.
Outside of church, our shared love for Wisconsin sports keeps us cheering year-round. Each year, we make it a point to attend both Brewers and Packers games with our families — a tradition that’s become one of our favorites.
We also have a shared love of the outdoors. In the spring and summer, we enjoy soaking up the sunshine while boating, fishing, or taking care of our yard. As fall and winter approach, our outdoor adventures include visits to pumpkin patches, apple orchards, and hiking or snowshoeing in various state parks.
Liz works in Finance in Appleton and Dan as a Land Manager on the land near our home — we are both fortunate to have careers that offer flexibility and embrace a family-first attitude.
We are very excited to become first-time parents through adoption and look forward to sharing our love, faith, and sense of adventure with a child.
