Social Ministry & Community Outreach focuses on bringing services to both rural and urban areas, working with parishes in times of crisis, and cooperating with other non-profit organizations in each of the 16 counties in the Diocese of Green Bay, to build a network of resources for those in need.
Through education, advocacy, collaboration, and communication, we work to address the systemic issues that contribute to injustice in our society and to be a voice for those whose voices are often silenced. We carry out this work grounded in the love of Jesus Christ, following the principles of Catholic Social Teaching.
Together we follow Christ who proclaimed as he began his ministry:
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring glad tidings to the poor. He has
sent me to proclaim liberty to captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free." - Luke 4:18
