Susan has worked with adults in various residential settings for the past ten years. She has practiced at Civil Commitment Treatment centers in Illinois and Florida and has treated Dual Diagnosis adults with severe mental health issues co-occurring with addiction. She values the worth of all individuals seeking help as it is her goal to help others by fostering the therapeutic relationship and focusing on the individual’s strengths as the means to achieve treatment goals. She has worked to enhance the individual’s faith in the process of healing through treatment. She facilitated both educational and process groups with populations that require special adaptive programming. She has assisted in the development of curriculum for group treatment.
