Wellness and Support helps bridge the gap between traditional services and individual needs to help achieve overall wellness and/or self-sufficiency goals. Services are driven by the individual and may include; peer mentoring, navigating systems of care, information & referral to community resources, financial assistance, advocacy, or case management.

Hope In Hand

Welcoming a new baby is an exciting time! However, it can be stressful especially financially and the first years of parenthood can be full of changes and challenges.  

The idea behind Hope in Hand is to assist new parents in Northeastern Wisconsin with some essential items, support, and resources for their child and the parent, with no string attached. 

Hope in Hand totes are new bags filled with some baby essentials and resources and may include:

  • Swaddle or Sleep Sack
  • One package of diapers
  • One package of wipes
  • Diaper Cream
  • Baby Wash
  • Adult Body Wash and Shampoo
  • Feminine Hygiene Products (if needed)
  • Children’s Board Book
  • Resource Guide

Distribution occurs the 3rd Tuesday of the month at the following Catholic Charities locations and remote sites.

  • Waupaca: 10-12 pm                                
  • Marinette: 9-11 am                                       
  • Menasha: 9-11 am                                    
  • Manitowoc: 9-11 am                                
  • Green Bay: 9-11 am  

Guidelines:

  • All bags must be picked up in person and are while supplies last
  • Families are eligible for 2 Hope in Hand totes per calendar year with children in the home that are ages 3 years old and under
  • At time of pickup, information requested will be your name, ages of children in the home, and city/county that you reside in.
  • There are no income eligibility requirements
