Our volunteers are the heart and soul of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Green Bay. Each volunteer shares their passion with the community by sharing their time, talents, and gifts through a variety of opportunities.
Once your background check is complete and your application is processed, our Volunteer Coordinator will contact you to discuss volunteer opportunities. We accept volunteers based on current needs and the information you provide in your Volunteer Application, including your area of interest and skill set. This process may take anywhere from 2-3 weeks to confirm.

Yes. Please indicate in your application that you're looking for service hours. Catholic Charities can work with you to get them completed.
The minimum age to volunteer with Catholic Charities is sixteen with a parent's permission, but this varies based upon volunteer role and opportunity.
While the volunteer coordinator will try to place each applicant, it's not always possible to find an assignment that is an appropriate match for the applicant and Catholic Charities. Please note that Catholic Charities' Volunteer Program is contingent upon a background check and safe environment training.
We utilize a system called Track It Forward where you can view open volunteer opportunities and sign up based on your availability. Each volunteer opportunity includes a description of the available shift dates and times, and the number of volunteers Catholic Charities will accept in those roles
Yes! Volunteer opportunities are available that meet a flexible schedule and you can make your own hours. Check with the Volunteer Coordinator, Halle Beranek, for details.
Volunteering with Catholic Charities means that you are taking part in the social teaching of the Church, to love and serve God through our neighbors. Volunteering boosts your mood, helps you make social connections, develop skills, and most importantly allows you to be the hands and feet of Christ to our neighbors in need.
Whether you're hoping to volunteer with coworkers, friends, or your church community, volunteer groups can team up to raise donations for Catholic Charities' services or you can join together to co-sponsor our refugee resettlement office.
