Provides funding for projects that benefit Northeastern Wisconsin immigrant or refugee populations who are struggling to meet their basic material needs (such as food, shelter, healthcare, literacy, and counseling services). These grant funds are provided to organizations based within the Diocese of Green Bay, which are in line with Catholic moral and social teaching. These funds are available to help the elderly (age 65 and up) in Outgamie county with housing (i.e. roof, heating, rent, furnace, etc.).
This is one-time financial assistance to expectant parents or parents of child under the age of one year who are in temporarily need to enable woman to carry their unborn child to term with love and dignity, and assist with basic needs during the first year of their child’s life.
A miscarriage or stillbirth can be devastating to a family. The added strain of funeral costs can be too much to bear. This fund provides assistance for funeral costs at a difficult time for these families and scholarships to families who wish to attend a retreat for families who have experienced the tragic loss of child.
